Before going further, let's review what we've learned.

 

 


 

We've calmed our mind:

  • Thoughts drag us into reasonings or concepts less often.
  • We have fewer negative emotions than before and manage them better.

The "self" has shifted to the background of experience:

  • We've realized it's not truly essential.
  • We're beginning to disidentify from it.

We've freed up inner space:

  • We're accustomed to inner silence.
  • We feel calmer and more present.
  • Our listening and observation skills have improved.

 

So, where are we on the path to awakening? Have we practiced enough?

If yes, we can now view the world not through the "self's" eyes, but directly with the Mind.
